"What Classes do you offer?" Steel MMA offers classes for all levels in both Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu. We also have Kids and Teens Muay Thai classes. If you're looking for strong striking and grappling programs we're the gym for you!
"I don’t own any equipment, do I need to purchase anything before attending a class?" No worries at all, if you are a Trial Member with us we've got you covered. We have free loaner gloves and shin-guards available for Muay Thai classes and Loaner Gis for Jiu Jitsu classes.
"It's my first time training, can I still join a class?" 100% YES! We welcome all-levels to come in and train with us. We have different classes based on your experience level so if you are new to martial arts, we recommend you start with our Beginner Muay Thai or Jiu Jitsu classes. Those classes cover the fundamentals and are the best way to start your martial arts journey.
"What sets us apart from other martial arts schools in San Diego?" We have the top striking program in San Diego. Steel MMA has one of the largest competition teams on the west coast but more importantly all students are trained with a solid foundation from passionate coaches. Fighters and non-fighters train alongside each other in an exciting but safe environment. We care about how good your cardio is, but our coaches are truly passionate about their art and it shows in their teaching.
"Where are you located?" We are located in Tierrasanta. 5910 Santo Road 92124 Directions: Exit Santo Road off the 52 and we are located in the Tierrasanta Gateway Plaza (across the street from Dairy Queen).
"Do you offer personal training?" YES! Our coaches are available for private and semi-private training to help you get closer to achieving your goals. Whether its fitness, helping you get ready for your big competition, or to continue to learn more of what you love, our coaches will make sure you get what you need.
